"Pegada" Terms of Use

1. Definitions: "Pegada" refers to the relationship app for dogs, including all associated features, services, and interfaces. "User" refers to any person who registers and uses the app.

2. Acceptance of Terms: By accessing and using Pegada, you agree, without restriction or reservation, to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use Pegada.

3. Eligibility: Pegada has no age restrictions for registration; however, we recommend that minors obtain consent from their legal guardians before using the app.

4. Responsible Use and User Content: a. Users must provide true and accurate information when creating profiles for their pets. b. Any type of offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or content promoting illegal activities is prohibited. c. Pegada reserves the right to moderate, remove, or refuse any content posted by users that may be deemed inappropriate.

5. Child Safety and Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Pegada has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any content, conduct, or material that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), is strictly prohibited. Users can report violating content or behavior at any time from within the app or by contacting our support team. Upon becoming aware of any such content, Pegada will remove it, take action against the responsible accounts, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the competent Brazilian authorities as required by applicable law. 6. Privacy and Communication: After a "match," users can exchange messages within the platform. Offensive language, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including account suspension or termination.

7. Match Preferences: Users have the freedom to set preferences for finding matches for their pets. Although Pegada strives to suggest relevant matches, we do not guarantee that all matches will meet the defined preferences.

8. Limitation of Liability: Pegada will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may result from meetings organized through the app. All users are encouraged to exercise discernment and caution when meeting other users.

9. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Pegada, its directors, employees, and agents, harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, attorney’s fees and costs, resulting from or in any way related to your use of the app.

10. Modifications: We reserve the right to revise and update these Terms of Use periodically, without prior notice. Continued use of the app after such modifications will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms of Use will be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Brazil. Any dispute related to Pegada will be resolved in the competent courts of Brazil.
